"CAFE CUPPUCIINO"
|
 |
|
CUPPUCINO is a coffee shop with a gallery
space inside. The double-swing door, which
is quite rare in the area, welcomes customers
with the aroma of coffee. There are a counter
table on the right and the monoboard table,
and I feel more comfortable seating on the
latter.
The shop is always full in lunch time, with
sizzling sounds coming from the kitchen. |
|
It has 150 standard menus, unlike other usual
coffee shop, including original, unique ones,
e.g. Indian rice omelet and 3 colored tea.
Waffle set is one of the most popular menus
here. (You can also meet an actress who is
a senior chief of the shop)

Creative Kitchen "Kichi-Kichi"
|
 |
|
The master's name is Motokichi, and the restaurant's
name is Kitchen "Kichi-Kichi",
which comes from the word "Kicchiri"
(means "exactly" - they charge
exactly & customers pay exact amount)
and the word "Kichi" (means "good
luck" so that the kitchen has double
luck)
Kichi-Kichi became a good dining spot in
Ukyo-ku soon after it's opening of 21 years
ago. |
|
Kichi-Kichi is located on the far east of
Daiei St. and very near Koryuji Temple. Many
customers come from Osaka by car. It is also
quite famous as a place you can meet famous
people in show business.
Lunch is served only twice a week, on Tue.
and Fri., and I recommend that you should
end up your day here after visiting the Movie
Village and touring around Daiei St. |
