"Ougon Yu" is on the lane to the
south of Rhino Hotel Kyoto. The appearance
of the building has a taste of
an old
town house in Kyoto, and the customers
also
seem to keep an old style of going
to
a bathhouse, which is to carry a Furoshiki
(a large square cloth used for wrapping
and
carrying) instead of a bag, and they
are a
very good match on the lane.
Why do we feel so good when being in a
bathhouse?
- A bathhouse is filled of negative ions
which is said good for emotional stability,
and for improvement of immunity and
respiratory
organs of a human being.
If so, why shouldn't it be a private
bath?
- Negative ions are also generated in a bathroom
of your house, but they decrease very
quickly in a small space as they require
much water resource and much air.
(Words of the manager of "Ougon
Yu")
"Ougon Yu" is only a minute walk
from Rhino Hotel Kyoto. They have a sauna,
a cold water bath, an electric bath, a jet
bath, a medicine bath beside an usual bath.
You can also do the washing in a laundromat
there while having a good time in a bath.
